Appendix G: Role Profile Template
Partnership planning prevents confusion later. This section documents what will happen, who will do it, and by when.
Step-by-step: Build the partnership plan
(1-2 weeks)
- Select the model (pipeline, cohort hiring, WBL pilot, OJT, internship, transitional job).
- Document role profile: tasks, schedule, wages, requirements, and success markers (Appendix G).
- Define responsibilities for employer, workforce partner, and any training/CBO partners.
- Set a timeline (planning → recruitment → launch → 30-60-90 follow-up).
- Confirm data sharing expectations and confidentiality practices.
- Confirm incentive alignment (WOTC, bonding, OJT reimbursement) where applicable.
O*NET occupational profiles support role clarification by describing tasks, skills, and work activities. [6]
Section 6 provides detailed guidance for work-based learning models (job shadows, paid work experience, internships) and their timelines and tools.
